What to expect.

Answers to the questions I get most often — before someone becomes a client and after.

What kind of businesses do you work with?

Trades and service businesses — HVAC, plumbing, electrical, commercial maintenance, RV repair, and similar operations. Typically one-person or small-team shops where the owner is also doing the work.

Do I need to change my existing software or tools?

No. The systems I build connect to what you already use — your existing intake form, scheduling software, email, or CRM. Nothing new to learn, no new subscriptions unless we agree one is the right fit.

How long does setup take?

Most alert and automation setups are complete within 24 to 48 hours after you submit the activation form and I have the information I need. More complex workflow connections may take a few days depending on scope.

Is there a contract?

No long-term contracts. Work is project-based or month-to-month depending on what you need. If something isn't working for you, you can stop.

How does the SMS notification system work?

When a customer submits your intake form, you receive an SMS alert within seconds. The message includes their name, phone number, job type, and any notes they entered. No app to check, no inbox to monitor — it comes directly to your phone.

What number do the alerts come from?

Alerts are sent from a dedicated business number registered through Twilio, a carrier-grade SMS platform. The number is associated with Willey Consulting LLC and complies with 10DLC carrier registration requirements.

Can I get alerts on Telegram instead of SMS?

Yes. Telegram delivery is available as an alternative or in addition to SMS. Some clients prefer Telegram for the threading and search features. Either way the alert content is the same.

How do I stop receiving alerts?

Reply STOP to any message. You'll receive one confirmation and then no further messages. To re-enable, reply START. You can also contact me directly at michael@willeyconsultingllc.com.

What can you connect with Zapier?

Most tools that have a Zapier integration — Google Forms, Gmail, Google Sheets, Calendly, Jobber, HouseCall Pro, Slack, Discord, Telegram, and hundreds more. If your tool is on Zapier's platform, I can wire it into your workflow.

What does email routing actually do?

It sorts your incoming email before it lands in your inbox — separating customer inquiries from vendor noise, flagging messages that need a response, and keeping the pile manageable. The goal is that the right messages surface first without you manually sorting.

What if something breaks or stops working?

I fix it. That's the standard I came from and the one I hold here. If a system I built stops working, I troubleshoot it and get it running again. I didn't come from software — I came from the trades, where something either works or it doesn't.
